The fact is that anyone can learn to build nice looking, fast loading web pages. The problem is that you don't want to, or don't have the time to, learn. This usually leads to the use of automated page builders which produce ugly, slow loading, and poorly coded pages. Whether you have a personal web site or a business site you want it to be functional and look good so that it will be enjoyable to your visitors.
I want to state right off that I do not consider myself a "professional" web designer as I have had no formal training and there are no certificates hanging on the wall by my computer. I do believe that over the past few years I have learned to build nice looking and functional web sites. I decided to starts this little web design business to provide a service for those who would like to have a nice web site but don't want to pay the exorbitant fees charged by the "professional" designers.
Pages I build will be basic, neat, html and may include javascript, css, and dhtml. They will be fast loading and look presentable at any screen resolution. The source code will be neatly organized and commented to allow editing by even the unexperienced. I will not build e-commerce sites which include elements such as shopping carts and credit card capability. These can become quite complex and require server side scripting.
